Jacinta joined WHK in 2007 having worked in Audit and Assurance roles in Canberra for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Australian National Audit Office (ANAO).
She commenced her career as a Graduate at the ANAO in 2000, progressing to the level of Audit Team Leader. She undertook external audits on a number of Commonwealth Agencies and Authorities including:
- Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
- Department of Family and Community Services (FaCS)
- House of Representatives (HoR)
- Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA)
Jacinta also gained significant experience at the ANAO undertaking large controls based external audits in accordance with approved audit methodology.
In 2004 Jacinta commenced at the PwC Canberra office where she rose from Senior Auditor to Audit Manager. Here she undertook external audits on behalf of the Commonwealth Auditor General in addition to internal audit work including:
- Australian Customs Service
- ACT Department of Human Services (DUS)
Her work in Canberra enabled her to gain significant experience in public sector financial reporting and assurance.
Since commencing at WHK, Jacinta has been involved in:
- Performing internal control reviews
- Conducting Risk Assessments
- Audit of large Propreitary Companies, Clubs, Associations and Charities
- Audit of Financial Statements
- Audit of Self Managed Superannuation Funds
