Having worked in the Ballarat area for 26 years, Bruce was a partner in Evans & Metcalfe which joined WHK in February 2008.

He has over 37 years experience in Audit and Assurance services and has gained considerable experience in auditing for clients in the Tourism, Education, Employment & Training, Gaming, Sporting, Aged Care and Retirement Homes, Finance and Investment, Manufacturing and Retail industries as well as a wide range of Not for Profit entities.

Bruce has recently been involved in:

• Assessment of the internal controls of a wide range of clients and determining if these internal controls are operating effectively
  
• Interpretation of Australian Accounting Standards and International Reporting Standards and applying these to complex accounting matters
  
• Discussions with Board of Directors and Audit Committees of a wide range of clients around the improvement of internal controls
  
• Completion of general purpose and special purpose financial reports
  
• Advising clients of changes and any proposed changes to the Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial  Reporting Standards and the impact of these changes on the entity’s financial results
  
• Fraud Risk Seminars for clients
