Nick commenced his career with the firm in 2002 and is now the audit manager of the Hobart audit and assurance team.

Nick has experience on a variety of internal and external audits, ranging from large listed companies to not-for-profit associations.  Areas of industry expertise include aged care, educational institutions, financial services, local government and related public sector entities and manufacturing. He has an up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and other statutory financial reporting requirements. 

Nick also specialises in the administration of self-managed superannuation funds and business advisory, including financial reporting, cash flow management, accounting system selection and implementation, budgeting, business planning & valuations, loss assessment and forensic accounting.

Nick enjoys constant communication with clients, through his professional involvement in various audit and finance committees, particularly in the Health and Aged Care sector.  Nick's involvement and ability to work alongside clients, providing professional advice, has been fundamental in his success in assisting clients to achieve their operational and business goals.  Nick is involved in providing specific training to clients in respect of financial statement analysis and has also facilitated a success seminar series on estate planning in superannuation.

Nick has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and Self Managed Superannuation Fund Professionals Association of Australia.  He is also a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
