Five more years for the WHK Ramornie Handicap

Tuesday, 15 December 2009

The Clarence River Jockey Club and WHK recently announced their new partnership. The long term agreement will see Grafton's famous race branded the WHK Ramornie Handicap for the next 5 years.

pc030040 WHK Chief Executive, Mr. Sam Sullivan highlighted the success of the 2009 WHK Ramornie Handicap as a deciding factor in signing on as a sponsor for another 5 years. "Our involvement with the 2009 WHK Ramornie Handicap was extremely succesful. We felt that by agreeing to a long term sponsorship WHK was able to build on that success and assist the Clarence River Jockey Club in promoting what we feel is the most prestigious race in regional Australia. We see the partnership with CRJC as enduring and a great opportunity to connect with the local community which has a long history of involvement with racing."
