Business Experience: Mr. Gordon is the leader of the Melbourne Corporate Finance and Advisory practice. Prior to Crowe Horwath he held senior advisory positions at PwC, RT Management (a boutique firm advising companies in the retail sector) and PPB Advisory (a large national recovery firm in Australia).

Corporate Finance Experience: Mr. Gordon's area of expertise is varied and includes:  mergers & acquisitions, divestments & trade sales, valuations & independent accountant reports (banks related) and transaction services including due diligence. He has worked with banks, private equity funds, private investors, public and private companies.

He has performed services for clients throughout Australia and New Zealand and has had minor past assignments in India and South Africa.

Mr. Gordon has been involved in the following recent transactions:  due diligence work across a broad range of industries, including retail and consumer goods, health products, technology, aged and child care, wholesale importing and professional services. Advisory positions included lead advisor on the sale of an on-line wagering business, lead advisor on the restructure and sale of a digital post production company and the sale of a publically listed electronic payments gateway and support business. 

Other transactions include:  restructures of a number of retail businesses as a precursor to a sales process; the pre-transactional commercialization of a number of businesses prior to capital raisings; and the creation and execution of a number of post acquisition 100 day integration plans relating mainly to private equity fund acquisitions

Mr. Gordon's experience includes the due diligence related to a number of large private equity acquisitions in the retail and distribution industry including a situation where the new investors delisted a previously listed public entity. He has experience with valuations of small to medium sized unlisted entities and their shares.
