Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper

Our friendly and supportive team is seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our close knit team based in our Forbes or West Wyalong office.

Being our star applicant, you play a critical role in supporting our team to deliver remarkable service to our clients.

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will;

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements & income tax returns
  • Assist in preparation of activity statements
  • Complete checklists & work papers to ensure due diligence
  • Prepare cashbook reconciliations & cash flow statements
  • Liaise with the ATO & other professional organisations
  • Develop relationships with our valued clients
  • Work as a collaborative & enthusiastic team member

You will successful in securing the role if you:

  • Have 3+ years experience in a public accounting environment
  • Understand & have the ability to carry our best process
  • Are a team player
  • Are proactive
  • Are passionate about delivering a high quality service to our clients
  • Have a strong ability to manage your time efficiently
  • Would like to play a key role within a well respected & successful business

Accountant

Our down to earth, friendly & suportive team are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our WHK office in either Forbes or West Wyalong.

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building & maintaining strong client relationships
  • Preparing more complex financial reports
  • Supervision & review of work completed by junior staff
  • Reviewing & developing internal systems & processes
  • Encouraging a collaborative team environment

ABOUT YOU

As our successful candiate you have 2-3 years experience in a similar environment and have either completed or part way through your CA/CPA. You are organised, have the ability to prioritise and the ability to manage & support junior team members. You will also have a genuine interest & an ability to build rapport with both our agricultural and business clients. It's all about good communication, drive and enthusiasm.
