Chief Executive
Barry joined the WHK Group in 2001 when the family firm, McGees Accountants (West Wyalong), joined the WHK Central West group of firms.
In 2004 he relocated to Dubbo in the role of Managing Principal of WHK Central West. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2007/8.
Barry has a wealth of knowledge working with dry land mixed farming businesses and working with farming families on their business planning, cash flow and finance management, growth and viability assessment, succession and estate planning processes.
He has adapted this ability to analyse and engage with businesses and families to his role as Chief Executive, continually assessing the opportunities and performance of the WHK Central West firm, and working with Principals and teams to develop strategic plans, business improvement and growth strategies.
Barry developed his leadership and management skills while running his own Chartered Accounting business, as well as his involvement with business and community organisations while in West Wyalong. He continues this community involvement in Dubbo having joined the board of Grow Dubbo.
